I think they got stuck on Jim.

When the writers of Ghost Whisperers wrote the scene were Jim died, I think they got stuck. Not knowing what to do after they had him enter another body, it went out of hand. I think maybe it was the end to Jim, but he stayed, (not sure). So maybe they should start all over. Melinda had an accident, went into a coma and was dreaming of Jim's death, and everything that happened after. She was pregnant before the accident and maybe rushing to tell Jim. Anyways, she gave birth while she was comatosed. Five years has passed and she awakens to find out everything that happened. All I know is they need to bring back the original Jim, not a misplaced one. I mean what about the guys family he is playing. No contact at all, do they know they have a Grandson? I just am not at all interested in this like before, and this upsets me for I just could not get enough of the show before.

The whole Jim/Sam thing is confusing, to say the least. What about Sam's family - do they think he is dead? He died. But he is alive and well, walking around with Melinda, living with her and her son. But are they married? No - Melinda married Jim again. But is it Jim? Jim's spirit in Sams body. Yes, yes, I got that. but....but.... Where is Jim's mom? Where is Melindas mom - they used to visit - what would happen if they visited now? What would happen - hum? Who would THEY see? What was getting Jim dead for? Purpose? Reason?

I do agree with you, the whole Jim/Sam thing is confusing... But what bothers me more is that Jim is not Jim anymore... He looks like him and that' s all. We saw a lot of him in this season but only at work, he has not that special relationship with Mel anymore, there' s no intimacy between them anymore. He can only talk about medical stuff , stealing things at work and take them to show Aiden which is not obviously interested in... We understand that now he' s a doctor ( using sam' s exams anyway), but I preffered him when he was a paramedic, because he didn' t bring work at home... This is only my opinion but he really doesen' t seem like the Jim we met the fist, second anda third season... I just miss him

I wonder if he acts differently because Jennifer's boyfriend works on the set. Although I didn't see him in last nights episode, he is usually hanging around in every scene and getting in the way. No, I don't like him - can you tell.

I think the writers changed Jim' s character... I don' t like JK neither, but is not his fault if Jim is in another guy' s body or if he' s different. He hasn' t so much power in the show even if he' s JLH boyfriend.
