#1hotchfan	Jim or Sam? Oct 3 2009, 11:42 AM EDT How confusing is it that Jim died last season and his soul came back in Sam's body, with Sam's face. Here we fast forward this season 5 years....and Melinda calls Sam "Jim." Doesn't that confuse anyone else around? What does his badge say at the hospital? Sam Lucas or Jim Gordon? Oct 10 2009, 11:28 PM EDT true true very true.... i have no idea, i think they do because they were saying last season that the baby is jim's but sam is simply taking care of him, like adopt him ...not exaclty those words but something similar.. i think it was in the last or second last episode of the last season Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I haven't seen his hospital badge up close yet to figure out if it says Jim Clancy or Sam Lucas. Or even if she calls him Jim in public, how does she explain her freudian slip? LOL! Too much analyzing! Just like in the movie "Home Alone" - I want to know how that little kid cleaned everything up but his brother's room before his parents returned! Seen it too many times LOL! Oct 13 2009, 3:13 AM EDT ok i dont know if this will be any help but i was bored yesterday and i found this on wikipedia "Aiden Lucas is the son of Melinda Gordon and Jim Clancy, and the adoptive son of Sam Lucas Jim is now a resident at the hospital, as Sam, and he takes the name Jim as his middle name." dont know if its accurate but it does explain why everyone calls him jim, but the whole y we see jims face on the name tag, i dunno Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Doesn't the body of Sam disintegrate or something with another spirit using it? Or the spirit loose viability in a different body? I seem to remember that from a previous season. I love the show but hate that Jim was killed. They should of just left it alone with him being alive or that with his death experience, he could see ghosts now too and can really help Melinda. If you watch one channel syfy its totally different show than the other channels. Where is the kid, saw him only a couple times on the one channel. I think it's all confusing and I record it daily. I just hope they don't stop the show like the rumors are saying Post reply Do you find this valuable?

CBS, on Friday nights at 8pm EST has all new episodes which begin in September and go through May, when they have their season finales. Sometimes with a rebroadcast tossed in here and there. This current season, you see on Friday nights jumped ahead 5 years so it is confusing. Post reply Do you find this valuable?
Roosterschic	12. RE: Jim or Sam? Nov 6 2009, 10:03 PM EST I just recently started watching GW and if you've never seen past episodes you would never know that Jim is in another body. I have now gone back and have caught up with most of the other season's and it just seems wrong what they did. It seems like something on a soap opera and almost makes me want to stop watching. I wonder if they have realized their mistake and that's why they don't really point out in this new season that Jim died and is in another body. It's like they want us to forget it happened. I also wonder, but didn't hear anything about it, if David Conrad was in a contract dispute, hence why they killed Jim off and then when it was settled, brought him back to stay in Sam Lucas' body. And yeah, they didn't address any of it which is so confusing to those who have watched it since day one. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Its so confusing cause this fridays episode they clearly said "Dr. Lucas".......im confused!! Is Aiden and Melinda's last name Lucas? Or is Melinda still using her maiden name? Yep, they did it was a little after 9 minutes in if watching online with no commercials. He was on the phone with Melinda and at the top of the stairs were some doctors and one of them called him Dr. Clancy. I wonder if it was truly a mistake or what?? I've heard him be called Clancy too. Plus in the first ep of season 5. I also noticed aiden looking at his name badge, as if they were trying to point something out (those sneaky directors) plus the pic on the badge looks like Jim, but I can't get a good enough look.
