How confusing is it that Jim died last season and his soul came back in Sam's body, with Sam's face. Here we fast forward this season 5 years....and Melinda calls Sam "Jim." Doesn't that confuse anyone else around? What does his badge say at the hospital? Sam Lucas or Jim Gordon? How do they get away with her calling him Jim in front of others?

For some reason, this computer is not giving me the "Edit page" button when i go to a page. I know its not the site becasue it works fine on my other computer. I don't know, maybe my computer needs an update or something. Is anyone else having this problem? Does any one know what is wrong or what i can do to fix it? Thanks

"i really hope that the chemistry between Jim and Melinda gets back on track. I also find Melinda is a lot less happy in the new season you rarely see her smile. Personally I do not like Aidan, the child is not a very good actor." Given the great love Jim and Melinda had, it is hard to see it this season. It feels like the writers are saying "Have a baby and your life changes and your chemistry with your spouse goes out the window." Sure your life changes, but having a baby doesn't change the chemistry with your spouse, if anything, usually parenthood, if you have the kind of love that Jim and Melinda do, strengthens the bond and chemistry.

I was trying to figure this out! Were does Ghost Whisperer take place! I know its in Grandview but what state? I was guessing New York, and I'm pretty sure there is a Grandview New York but now I'm not so sure!

i just started watching the ols reruns of Ghost whisperer and need to know how Jim got his bady back when he died when a police officer shot him. I saw him get into another mans body. later i saw that he was someone else. HOW DID JIM GET HIS BODY BACK? now they have a kid??? please unconfuse me! I saw tonites episode and saw jim in his body! HELP!

Melinda only see's sam as jim. I dont know about the new season, im still a little confused cause they no longer call sam , sam they call him Jim. The child is melinda and jim's, she got pregnant before he died. hope that cleared up a little bit for ya.

When the writers of Ghost Whisperers wrote the scene were Jim died, I think they got stuck. Not knowing what to do after they had him enter another body, it went out of hand. I think maybe it was the end to Jim, but he stayed, (not sure). So maybe they should start all over. Melinda had an accident, went into a coma and was dreaming of Jim's death, and everything that happened after. She was pregnant before the accident and maybe rushing to tell Jim. Anyways, she gave birth while she was comatosed. Five years has passed and she awakens to find out everything that happened. All I know is they need to bring back the original Jim, not a misplaced one. I mean what about the guys family he is playing. No contact at all, do they know they have a Grandson? I just am not at all interested in this like before, and this upsets me for I just could not get enough of the show before.

I think the writers changed Jim' s character... I don' t like JK neither, but is not his fault if Jim is in another guy' s body or if he' s different. He hasn' t so much power in the show even if he' s JLH boyfriend.

You know what "jumping the shark" is right? Its a point during a series where due to writers, or direction in the show that the plot becomes irreversibly repairable, and therefore begins the tailspin of the shows demise. I believe last season was the endgame for this show. It was bad enough killing off Andrea. But the "soul leaping" plot line was too much for me. My girl friend lost her husband, and she never got him back. She stopped watching the show all last season. Watching a kid born and then zooming ahead 5 years (which now puts the show 5 years in the future) is ridiculous. Let end it while there's still some dignity left.

Hi there,
I am not a regular viewer of this show, so wanted to ask those of you who are fans.
How many funerals or memorial services are there on the show? Is this a regular occurrence?
I'm curious to know because I happened to catch a clip of Melinda at a funeral. I'm writing a novel that has a similar scene and I don't want to inadvertently copy the show.

I am so confused, so I just got into this show not that long ago but I've seen plenty of the old ones and saw Jim and Melinda when Melinda was pregnant and had a baby boy and there was one or two episodes when they had their little boy in it. So...that being said how is it that Jim is dead and the little boy is not in the picture? can someone explain? I've thought around it and was thinking either melinda's son died in a show I missed or there's something wrong with the order of this show...which no that would not make sense either...

"Usually I LOVE new GW episodes. I thought last night's episode was boring and disappointing. And what happened to the ghost in the morgue? I get irritated when they don't finish up a plot before starting a new one. So often I think "ohh they'll cover that later in the season," and then they never do. What happened to Gabriel? What happened to the laughing man? I didn't like how most of this episode centered around Nathan's house. The action scenes seemed so contrived - and I was not feelin' it. I like seeing the interactions/relationships between the main characters, instead of this random side stuff they throw in." I feel the same way. They never follow up on teasers!
