I hope in season 3 That the dark side is explored in more detail! Melinda is obviously caught up in something sinister AND unknown to her. She is a bit innocent when it comes to this topic but that will be used against her by the 'other side' She must be sensing that their is more to her gift
than she realizes! And in fact she could be heading into a trap! Somewhere along the line she has to be warned that
she must tread carefully and not to be deceived by her success in helping others into the light. For those who have no path to redemption have nothing to lose! Melinda is going to have toughen up if she is to remain committed to her present role while dark side motives become clearer.

SEASON TWO: Darker and more symbolism than season one. We are introduced to new characters such as Delia who helps Melinda in Same As It Never Was... after the death of Andrea. Another Character is Gabriel who also sees ghosts however he isn't in Grandview to help Melinda, he is there to distract her as he is on the evil side along with Romano. 5 signs confront Melinda throughout the season which she will have to figure out where they all lead to.

SEASON ONE:Melinda Gordon is a young newlywed with the unique ability to communicate with the earthbound spirits of people who have died, and who seek her help. Melinda uses her gift to relay significant messages and important information to the living, but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. As a result, she is often met with questions and skepticism by the survivors. But when Melinda is able to help both the lost souls who contact her and those who are still alive, she knows that her unique talent is an asset and not a liability.

What we know: He lives and works in Grandview. His wife, Kate died in a construction accident. Before he met Melinda, he had no belief in the Occult or the Paranormal. He was a sceptic who counted on Scientific Data. He and his wife were estranged; she'd had an extramarital affair. Once he discovered this (through Melinda's intercession with Kate's spirit), he was unable to forgive Kate but as Kate did not cross over she returned pleading for his forgiveness which he gave her.

Personality: An uptight but lovable guy. Can be abrasive but is well intentioned.

What we don't know: If he didn't believe in ghosts then why did he pick up that profession?

His role in the town: Psychologist, Professor of Occult Sciences. Instructor at Rockland University in Grandview.

What we know: She can see and communicate with the Dead. She is married to Fireman/ Paramedic Jim Clancy and they live in a fixer-upper house in Grandview. She is a sixth generation Ghost Whisperer, her Great-Great-Great-Grandmother (Tessa) being first (revealed in S03e05). Melinda owns and operates an antique store in Grandview called "Same As It Never Was Antiques". When stressed, she takes solace in ice cream. She also takes turns with Delia buying coffee at the local Village Java. She is the best role-model anyone could have. Delia is still having trouble trying to believe that Melinda can see and speak to the dead. She just revealed to Jim that she wants a baby! So fingers crossed! she also doesn't go by Mel Clancy because she want her own identity (SO1E02) What we don't know: What exactly happened to her father, and what motives do her father and half-brother have for needing to turn her to the dark side?
