What we know: He lives and works in Grandview. His wife, Kate died in a construction accident. Before he met Melinda, he had no belief in the Occult or the Paranormal. He was a sceptic who counted on Scientific Data. He and his wife were estranged; she'd had an extramarital affair. Once he discovered this (through Melinda's intercession with Kate's spirit), he was unable to forgive Kate but as Kate did not cross over she returned pleading for his forgiveness which he gave her.

Personality: An uptight but lovable guy. Can be abrasive but is well intentioned.
What we don't know: If he didn't believe in ghosts then why did he pick up that profession?

His role in the town: Psychologist, Professor of Occult Sciences. Instructor at Rockland University in Grandview.
