I recently took a trip to St Augustine, Fl. On the trip, I took two ghost hunting tours. One of the tours was on Sept. 16th, the middle of the week. When I arrived at the destination, I was the only person on the tour along with two guides. This lead to incredible first hand hunting that yeilded great results. We encountered paranormal activity at two of the locations of the tour. Armed with k2 meters (detects electromagnetic fields and energy), cameras and digital voice recorder, we were able to detect paranormal activity. On one of the locations, we were at the old fort. On the east side, there is a wall where executions might have taken place. Moments later, the k2 meter was going off the scale. One of the guides felt contact as her arm was being grabbed. We tried to ask questions but the meter kept going off the scale. Evidence of possible "urgency" on the spirits part.
The other location was at what was once known as the Sanchez Mortuary. At this location, we had what was described to be an interactive haunt. (actual communication with the spirit). At one spot, one of the guides felt sad and at that instant, the k2 meter went off. This time we were able to ask yes and no questions. The spirit apparently lights up the meter if the answer is yes and no if the meter is unlit. The results were astounding. We apparently made contact with a 6 year old girl named Sarah who died of yellow fever in the 1800's. History confirms this. We talked her into going into the light and cross over. When that happened, the quide felt better and the meters stayed quiet. Nearby is a cemetery that contains yellow fever victims.

The year before I was born, my 3 year old sister and 4 year old brother went to be with the Lord as a result of a tragic house fire. One day while visiting my grandmother she yelled into my room asking me who was I talking to since I was by myself. I told her that I was talking to the little boy and girl in my room and they were my friends and knew who I was. My grandmother just stood there a while, looking into my empty room. I never saw them again that I can remember, but I am sure that they must have been Jimmy and Patty. I also know I WILL see them again, and what a laugh we will have about scaring my grandmother! Hi you all, I'm Lizzy I'm gonna be 14 in a few weeks and yeah then you think I'm just a kid, but I can't think nor act like a normal child.../teenager... No, I don't believe in this bloody marry stuff or anything like it, but I'm to afraid to try it...
I allways had this "gift"-thing that I know when something bad's gonna happen. I had it a few times. For as far as I can remember is 2 tornadoes, 1 storm, illnesses, many things I never found out, and a few months ago my mother's dead... I was really shocked about the last one. I knew it, but I didn't want to know. Lately I shut it out, but since a few weeks I am noticing there's gonna happen something. I think it's my grandpa, but I don't know for shore. You probably know the feeling like you've been watched, don't you?? I allways had that feeling sometimes. I guess I was to young to relate these things to ghosts, but since my mum died I felt her presence. First I was só scared, but later I felt safe. She was waiting for me at home or sometimes even following me to school or if I went shopping, but that didn't happen much. Lights went out, doors slammed or opened. When I went to bed to bed she REALLY kissed me goodnight! It scared the hell out of me. Later I had good talks with her, not that she really answered... I wasn't scared and I believe she, after 4 months, finally passed away for real.. That was happy for her. The grief was partly over, a huge part. Now it's 3 months after this experience, Now I have an other one...

Well, the first time I remember seeing ghosts, I must have been around 8 years old. I remember telling my Mom I needed to go to that hospital with the crazy people because I kept seeing people walking around our house that I knew were not there. She then had me describe each of them to her (my guess is to see how many there were). After wards, she sat me down and told me about a house we lived in when I was about 3 years old, not to mention 3 states prior, Air Force moved us a lot. Anyway, back to the point. We lived in that house for a few months. She said every night at bedtime I would throw a fit that I did not want to sleep in my room, yet I had no problem being in there during the day. Every morning they would wake up and I would be asleep in my sister's bed or on the couch. After a few months, they found out a baby died of S.I.D.S., in MY ROOM!!! After moving to another house, I started sleeping in my bed again. To this day, I still don't remember it. Yet, after living in the house where I saw people walking around, I started seeing things more and more. It got to the point that I saw my neighbor die in a car wreck a year before it happened. I was a teenager at that point. I shut my eyes for a few seconds and WHAM!!! There was the wreck! The only thing was I could not see her face. And my Dad's death a week before, but he knew as well. It comes from both sides. It does not happen that often now that I have children, maybe I am to scattered. But my middle child is being treated for schizophrena medication increased to the max, yet anytime he is alone behind a closed door, you hear what sounds like one side of a phone conversation. His doctors don't fear it is anything harmful. And he seems to get more talkative when he is at locations where people have died. So who knows, maybe now that I have kids they have just gone from me to my kids since I never tried communicating. I would just look at them and keep on with my life.

I have often seen spirits and they rarely frighten me in fact I have often been protected by spirits. Once when I was visiting a town in Colorado with an uncle I was told by a woman at the door of a hotel refuted to be haunted to wait at the cafe. I told my uncle I would wait for him at the cafe - the girl came to me there and told me I wasn't safe at the Hotel and to stay away. My uncle stayed at the hotel despite my warning and that night the hotel was robbed and a woman who was in the room ajoining my uncles (which would have been mine) was seriously injured.
My favorite memory of a spirit encounter though happened at my Grandmothers funeral. I was 16 and my Grandmother was very dear to me. I was looking at her coffin and I saw a lovely young girl in a white dress sitting on top of it waiting. She was swining he legs and looked to be about my age. After a while a handsome man about 25 came up to her and picked her up and held her close. It was beautiful as I could tell they really were in love. She waved at me and he gave me a nod and they turned an walked hand in hand until they faded from sight. LAter at the wake I was looking at photos with my grand aunt and noticed a picture of the girl - I was told it was my Grandmother as she looked the day she married my Grandfather. It is always comforting for me to remember that their love was so strong he came to get her and take her "home".

Back in 1973 I was newly separated from my husband and living with my 4 sons in a rented home in Michigan.
It was a 2 story home and all of the bedrooms were upstairs. Many times at night after all of my sons were sleeping and I was getting ready for bed , I would hear giggling . It was the sound of a happy toddler in an old fashioned metal bouncing chair in the right hand corner of the livingroom.
Each time I went down stairs to see the baby, the sound would stop as soon as I touched the bottom step.
We lived in the home for over a year and I never saw the baby ,but was comforted by the knowledge that a child had enjoyed a brief happy life in our home.
This was not my first experience with someone that had died, but it was as an adult.
I know that there is life after this one. I know that we should not be afraid of those who are near us after they leave this portion of their life

hi my name is ryan i have lived in my new house for about 5 years now i am 14 years old. my parents are renavting everyones rooms and now its my turn so i have to sleep in my basement. my house about 50 years old and i have never slept in the basement before. and for some reason the 4th night i slept there i saw this really wear shadow thing floating around at first i thought it was just me but then the next night i saw a it again its dark on the out side kinda bright in the middle and its kind ovalish ive only seen it 4 times now but its always floating at the and of my bed.... so i ask my parents to sleep there one night and nothin but the next night i saw it again but it was closer.... so then the week after i had my birthday and i had some friends over and for some reason i saw it again but i kind floated away for some reason.... and i havent seen it since none of my friends saw it though
so know im wondering if its coming back and today cutting the lown i think i saw an angel it was nice bright white colour then i blinked then it was gone then my dog started to bark after it was gone so if anyone has any advise please respond

I was trying to go to sleep and my family was down. i had just finished having an arguement with my grandpa's wife and my cousin and aunt were sleeping in my room. so my cousin's things were in there. i heard her ipod turn on but i did not know that is what it was i thought it was just her ringtone. i thought this because i saw a light and heard AM to PM. the song finished and apologize started playing and i was like dang thats a long a** ringtone. but i got up to check and it was her ipod. the scary part was no one was around to turn it on.
