Episode recap: When Melinda comes across a box of handmade ornaments at a flea market, she encounters a ghost who doesn’t appear to hear or see her, leaving Melinda confused by his behavior. By picking up the ornaments Melinda is transported to images in the ghost’s mind, and through these images Melinda comes understand the ghost is autistic and this is his way of communicating with her. Before the ghost can crossover Melinda needs to help his girlfriend, who is also autistic and left alone following his death, get the care she needs by reuniting her with her estranged mother who hasn’t seen her daughter since she put her in an institution years ago.
