I read Mary Ann Winkowski's book and it really helped me understand the whole series. She's a real woman who can see ghosts in her life and the whole concept of ghost Whisperer is based off of her life. Some of the stories are even based off encounters she's had, though they often aren't as serious as Melinda's. All fiction television is expanded and molded to create an interesting story line, where in real life, I figure being able to see ghosts isn't as exciting as what Melinda encounters. I don't think Mary Ann actually has anything to do with the five signs of death, or whatever that thing spread across the first four seasons is, or a ghost that is bent on killing her out of spite that his murder plan was exposed and he then commited suicide, or something along the lines of that. I think she just deals with average people who died and kept a promise or just need to pass on the information that is needed to sell their house or whatever. Also, read "The Book of Illumination" by Mary Ann and a woman named Maureen Foley, I think. Mary Ann and Maureen wrote the book to give another look at Mary Ann's world, though it isn't as exciting as Ghost Whisperer. It's interesting, a good read.
The Syfy channel sometimes has Ghost Whisperer playing on it. Also, check out ch131.com. You can watch episodes of Ghost Whisperer there as well.

I have this problem sometimes, but I don't know what is wrong or how to fix it. Maybe it only works on certain things outside of the thread.
